Jack Of None have kindly allowed House Of Beauty to release a very limited quantity of this EP on compact disc.

This is the first release in the House Of Beauty Records 'Listening Room' Series.

"The Purpose of the Moon" is a collection of 7 very personal tracks that are meant to explore the 7 stages of grief -- from denial to acceptance. It is the band's first collection of music since 2017's EP "The Tattle Tale Heart", which was awarded "Best EP - Eclectic" in the 16th Annual Independent Music Awards in New York City (March 2018).

All tracks were written and recorded during lockdown -- between the months of May and August 2020. Like all of their previous releases, the EP is the product of online collaboration from 2 separate locations -- Manila, Philippines (Maxine and Julian) and Chicago IL, USA (A.G.).
